The number of natural disasters will increase two- to threefold over the next 50 to 70 years

 As Sergei Ryabakov, Director General of the "Nature and People" Foundation, explained, this is caused by global warming and human impact on the climate.

 It is therefore important for people to prepare for an increase in disasters.

"In southern Russia, for gale-force winds; in the Far East, for potential flooding; and, speaking of megacities, particularly Moscow, for heatwaves."
