Researchers have accidentally discovered marine life between Antarctica's ice shelves.
A British Antarctic survey team came across a number of stationary animals after drilling through 900 metres of ice.
The creatures were attached to a large boulder and surviving in complete darkness in temperatures lower than minus two degrees.
The discovery goes against all previous theories of what life could survive deep below the ice shelves.
