At least 45 people died in Pakistan because of torrential rains and rain-provoked accidents in recent days, Geo TV reported.
According to the television channel, the biggest number of deaths - 21 - was reported from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Deaths have also been reported from the provinces of Sindh, Balochistan, and Punjab.
Most casualties occurred as a result of roof collapses and flash floods that swept away houses and bridges, the authority added.
Weather forecasts say that heavy rains will continue at least until Saturday.
Seven more people have died in rain-triggered accidents across Pakistan over the past two days, raising the death toll to 45 since the onset of the monsoon season on June 26, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said Sunday.
