Nearly hundred flights cancelled at Moscow airports due to snow storm and freezing rain

About 100 flights have been cancelled and more than 20 others delayed at Moscow airports on Thursday due to bad weather conditions, according to the website.

As of 8.30am Moscow Time, six flights have been cancelled at the Domodedovo airport, 13 more will be delayed. At the Sheremetyevo airport, 10 flights have been delayed and 88 others have been cancelled, while at the Vnukovo airport one flight has been cancelled.

The snowfall in the Moscow region has continued since the small hours of Thursday morning.

Weather forecasts promise cloudy, wet and windy weather in Moscow on Thursday, with wet snow and icy road conditions.
