Floods in Germany and France.

At least five people were killed in floods in France and Germany, where dozens of small towns water rose several meters above ground level, and residents were evacuated by helicopter, reports the BBC.

Heaviest flooding hit the South of Germany, where the rivers burst their banks and caused severe damage to homes.

In the Bavarian Triftern 250 children due to the floods the day could not leave the territory of the school.

According to forecasts, the water level will continue to rise for a few days.
