Un terremoto de 6,5 sacude Botsuana

Un terremoto de 6,5 se ha registrado este lunes en Botsuana, informa el portal USGS. El epicentro del sismo se registró a unos 131 kilómetros al norte de Moijabana a una profundidad de 10 kilómetros.

Drought in Botswana is learning opportunity to achieve water security – (UN rights expert)

 UN, 17 November 2015 – A United Nations human rights expert today urged Botswana to take the current extreme drought in the southern African country as an opportunity to develop a strategy for providing access to safe drinking water and sanitation for all as “a short-cut to prevent illnesses and deaths” in the long run.

Faced with a challenge of deteriorating water supply, landlocked Botswana has been forced to look at neighboring countries for water, officials announced Thursday.
