Winter has come very early to many parts of Europe, with cold air spreading a long way south, bringing snow, or the risk of it, to many areas.

Flooding hits BiH

Flooding hit the Sarajevo area of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on Monday due to persistent rain over the weekend.

Some homes were flooded in the suburbs of Sarajevo, the capital of BiH, with dozens of people evacuated. There were also several landslides and some roads closed.
