MORE than 100 homes have been burned to ashes as a devastating fire rages in Norway

Several hundred people were forced to evacuate on Friday as swarms of firefighters battled the biggest blaze the country has seen in a decade.

  No casualties reported; hundreds evacuated, dozens of firefighters and helicopters battling to contain the blaze.

 It was not immediately known where or how the fire began.
