A 6.4-magnitude earthquake was registered in Afghanistan in the early hours of Wednesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center said.
The epicenter was located at the depth of 10 km, 34 km northwest from the city of Heart, the country’s third largest city with a population of over 272,000 people.
The impact of the new quake is not yet clear, but many are already sleeping in the open after their homes were destroyed on Saturday.
