India's Assam Floods: 24 districts under water, 8 dead in floods and mudslides

 

 At least eight people have died in floods and mudslides triggered by heavy rains in India’s remote northeast region, officials said Tuesday. 

Assam is devastated by floods. A number of villages broken by water intrusion. 2,235 individuals have been affected in 24 districts. 

 The New Hufflong railway station was the worst hit by the floods. That station is totally washed away. Nevertheless, it was attainable to rescue each passenger. 

Many animals and birds have additionally died as a result of floods.
