 Located in the heart of Siberia, Baikal is one of the biggest lakes in the world, that exists over a deep abyss in the Russian landscape.

 It is frozen half of the year, with temperature dropping as low as minus 50 in winter. Nevertheless, the ecosystem of this lake’s shores is very rich and unique.
