At least five dead as storm winds hit central Europe

At least five people have died as strong winds hit across central Europe, killing two people in Poland, two in the Czech Republic, and one in Germany officials have said.

Much of the European continent was affected by severe drought in June and July 2015, one of the worst since the drought and heat wave of summer 2003, according to the latest report by the European Commission's Joint Research Center.
